I feel that this is a great discussion between two catholics that have different beliefs. The priest staed that if you are a member of the Catholic Church and annouce your beliefs but they do not match exactally what the Catholic Church believes then you should not express your opinion. I feel that the priest is wrong in saying this. I was always brought up as a Catholic and even if you do not fully believe on a paticular issue, in this example Sean did not believe in the priests views about non Catholics using birth control you are not a devout Catholic. Both Sean and the priest made very good points in this discussion but I was shcoked to hear that the priest would deny Sean communion if he came to his church.
